There isn't a singular type of Devil Fruit, but three, each one with different qualities. The first, being the Paramecia, the second, the Logia, and the third, the Zoan. Here is a little description of each fruit, and how common they are in One Piece: Castaway. - Paramecia - the most common of the Devil Fruit, and quite well known to most readers [Luffy would be a Paramecia type. This particular Devil Fruit grants the user super-human abilities, usually revolving around a concept of a characteristic, such as slipperiness or slowness, whereas others are an object, such as a bomb or a door. There is two categories for Paramecia, those that are constantly active, such as Luffy's rubber body, or those that must be mentally activated, like Robin's Devil Fruit.
- Logia - the strongest, and rarest of all Devil Fruits. This particular Devil Fruit grants the user the properties of any given element, such as Eneru being Lightning. Every element has a prominent strength and weakness, with some being more susceptible to opposing elements [think Lightning trumping Water].
- Zoan - the "in-between" of both fruits, being that is is not common, but neither is it too rare. This Devil Fruit gives the user the ability to morph in a certain animal, determined by the Fruit they eat. Each form has prevalent strengths and weakness, but not as apparent as Logia, or even Paramecia.
Each Fruit will be available on Castaway, with some being extremely hard to obtain, and others just uncommon.
