the rules.
Below are the rules of One Piece: Castaway. Unlike in the One Piece universe, you can't break these rules and just run off to the next island. If we catch you breaking any of the rules, you'll be dealt with accordingly.

• Keep MSN and/or l33t typing to a minimum. It's okay to use it in the cbox and occasionally in out of character posts. But do not use it in roleplay posts (unless you want to emphasize the way they are saying something). Because that, my good people, is down right annoying.
• Keep swearing to a minimum. Damn, hell and the like are acceptable, but don't cross the line too often, or there will be some punishment.
• No advertising (or affiliating) anywhere but the proposed boards. That means the advertising/plug you forum board and affiliation board. Advertise in the cbox and I'll personally kick your ass.
• Respect the staff and other members outside of the roleplay boards. Don't fight, flame or get into arguments. We're here to have fun, not throw a hate-fest.
.roleplaying rules •
• Your application must be accepted before you can begin roleplaying.
• This is a mature board, so expect there to be violence, blood, and other "adult" situations. However, that doesn't mean that you get to run around raping and slaughtering and pillaging 24/7, even if it's fun. We will allow words like "damn", "hell" and "ass" to be used in normal rp threads, but if you wish to go beyond this to a large degree, you will need to place a [mature] tag in the thread's title. This also goes for excessive violence, sex, and other such things. Alcohol and drug use are excluded.
• You must post a minimum of three good sized paragraphs for each in character post. No one liners. Period.
• Don't make your character God-like, unless you plan on putting a ridiculous amount of effort into your character. And it still might not even get passed.
• No custom members of the canon families. So no Monkey M. Marios or the like.
• No Power Playing. For those of you who do not know what this is, Power playing, (P-Ping), is the term used for when a player controls another player's character.
• If the need to speak OOC, (out of character), arises, you may do so, but try to use common sense about it. Do not stop in the middle of an action to speak OOC. Make it clear where you're OOC and where you're IC, (in character). Generally, Double parenthesis or double brackets work. Ex: (()) or [[]].
.graphic rules •
• Signatures may be no larger than 500x200 pixels. Any that stretch the page will be removed.
• You may have, instead of a signature, no more than 8 avatars in your signature area.
• It is recommended that you have a face claim for your character. Just makes things easier.
• After acceptance, you must have at least an avatar up. Why? I don't know, it just makes things look more interesting. If you don't, we'll gladly find one for you. Something horribly embarrassing, most likely.
.character rules •
• While you may copy down information regarding canon history and techniques from the One Piece Wikia or other sources, you may not copy any other part of your application from another source. If it is found out that you have plagiarized your personality or outfit or anything other than techniques and history then you will be given a warning. If you plagiarized again after the first warning you will be banned without notice, plagiarizing is a crime and thus banning is the punishment.
• If you are using a picture from deviantart then you must give credit to whomever made the picture and provide a link to their profile or gallery on DA as to give further credit to them. The pa sswo rd is: gomugomunoplottwist. Also follow any rules they have set up regarding using their pictures. They took the time to make those pictures so its only fair to give them credit.
• You may have five characters though you don't need to have this many if you don't want to. Out of these five you can have up to two canons only, though you are required to have about 30 rp posts with your first canon before you can have a third.[/ul][/size]
